ADDITIONAL NOTES: Former Aetherial elite "Shin" is an infamous traitor of the Aether Coalition, who commands the rebel gang known as "Dark Matter." He is a common threat to the expansion of the empire, having contested Aetherial forces on countless planets throughout the universe. Originating from Aetheria, he displays advanced knowledge of Aetherial combat and magic, and takes pleasure in killing his opposition.HISTORY: Shin was born into the elite Castanova family, and raised to be an undefeatable soldier. From a young age, he showed gifts in all forms of combat, as well as military strategy. After graduating the Academy, he was sent to conquer worlds throughout the home galaxy. He soon after declared war on Aetheria, forming Dark Matter. What led to his treason is unknown.

ALIAS: The Last Vampire

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Fabled assassin "Kyu" is a well-known killer throughout the Hollowtree Forest of Earth. They hold a heavy record of murders against humans in the area. Their intentions and motive are currently unknown. Their skills with dagger-like weaponry are unrivaled on the planet, due to years of experience. They can commonly be found alongside Aetheria traitor Shin, "The Dark Star." Romantic relations are a probable cause.HISTORY: Kyu's origins remain mostly unknown. According to local humans, they were born from a shadow years ago, with the sole purpose of killing those who wander near their home. However, this is believed to be a folk tale (See The Last Vampire).

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Human male "Ashe" is a seemingly harmless being, with close relations to Aetheria traitor Shin, "The Dark Star." The extent of their relationship is unknown, but it is believed to be a form of camaraderie. He refuses to give information on Shin or Dark Matter, further interrogation required.HISTORY: Ashe is a young adult human born on planet Earth 19 years ago. During that time, an alliance was formed with Shin, leading to his aiding in Dark Matter's crimes. No further information is available at this time.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Aelios-borne "Void" is an infamous arms dealer to groups against the Coalition, mainly Dark Matter. They are believed to be the captain of an unnamed smuggling group responsible for many criminal cases in Aetheria and its colonies. Their skills in melee combat, particularly the blades, makes them difficult to approach directly.HISTORY: Void was born to the upper-middle class Larkspur family on planet Aelios. Not much is known of their upbringing, however it is believed they fled the Coalition following the arrest of the Larkspur family for suspected treason. Since, they have been regarded as a traitor.

Alone? Good. This is Captain Shin, leader of Dark Matter. You've stumbled across this log, hidden in the Coalition's database, which is no small feat. Allow me to share some info on myself the criminal logs missed:


For centuries, I've been fighting to free planets and galaxies from Aetherial dictators. What they won't tell you about their "great nation" is that they spend most of their time terrorizing inhabitants of weaker worlds, forcing them to do their bidding and abide by their laws. It's disgusting. The bastards that prey on the weak need to be brought to justice, and I am here to send them there. The resistance will fight on until Aetheria burns to the ground.


As for me, I will serve as your leading commander in the upcoming years. I pride myself on my fairness, but do not test my boundaries. I am not afraid to put anyone back in line if I need to. I've seen too many traitors to take any chances, so let this be your one and only warning. That being said, do not fear approaching me. You may see me around the camps and corridors, so I encourage you to say hello. I want to know all of you personally.


It's true I was born in Aetheria, to the elite Castanova family. They raised me to be a warrior- someone capable of destroying worlds, and making them bow at my feet. They never knew they were training the one to end their reign. Years after my graduation, I was sent to Earth, a planet full of diverse, precious life. My mission was set: to erase all forms of unintelligent life, and to "liberate" the rest. What an idiot I was to believe it. While scouting, I met someone. A beautiful girl. I had slept with many women in my life, but she was different. Her love and guidance proved to me that the planet needed to be protected, not conquered. I understood it all so clearly. My world had become a threat. I knew what I needed to do, and thus, Dark Matter was formed.


I don't miss my home world, and I will never return other than to watch it crumble to ash. If you need more information, come speak to me directly in my chambers.
